The Story
Pete Sews is a sewing tuition and tailoring service based on the Mornington Peninsula. Passionate about sustainability, Pete loves working with recycled materials, loud fabric and one-of-a-kind designs. He’s fighting fast fashion one stitch (and student) at a time. To capture the essence of this vision, the branding needed to be eclectic, fun and unmistakably “Pete.” Lucky for us, Pete is a man who is unafraid to go all in on colour and kitschy chaos.

As part of the brand design, we developed several bespoke illustrations to create a feel of retro fabrics. These illustrated patterns were used throughout the branding application to give the brand Pete-style personality and playfulness. Think Kramer shirts meets op-shop score, with a dash of lovingly hand-stitched wonk.
